The construction of the Lochluichart wind farm represents over £50 million in investment and creates a wide range of contract opportunities for local businesses. It has been predicted by an independent economic assessment that there is the potential for significant investment in the local community and economy.

There will also be direct local employment during the construction period, many of whom will be local construction contractors, as well as ongoing contract opportunities on a smaller scale during the operational phase.
